Basic settings and rules for Planogram
Substitution
Substitution allows the replacement of a current planogram with that of a selected replacement.
Depending on the options available and specified, replacement can be universal for the selected floor,
store or group of stores – all required planograms are replaced in a single operation.
More complex substitutions require Retail FOCUS Enterprise – a version with automatic
updating facilities.
Planogram Substitution with CLONING
From retail Focus, go to Admin-->Planogram Substitution
When setting up a new Planogram Substitution, make sure that Current is NOT checked
in the File Status
list at the bottom of the form.
The System Variable CLONING_RULES must have the SVR_ID set to 3 in the
AVTTB_SYSTEM_VARIABLE table in the Retail Focus schema
to allow the current status file to clone.
